Welcome to the ECDO-2016 conference!

We are pleased to announce the 24^th conference of the European Cell Death Organization, “Cell Death in Health and Disease”, this year co-organised with the COST PROTEOSTASIS network.

The conference will take place on September 28^th-30^th 2016 in Barcelona, at the Biomedical Research Park, one of the most important research centers in Europe.

We will bring together a crowd of basic and clinical scientists, including renowned scientists, with the aim to understand the best targets and approaches to treat diseases by modulating cell death. The ECDO Conference on Cell Death has a long tradition of scientific excellence and lively debate, and the format of the conference, with its emphasis on poster sessions and short oral communications, together with communal lunches and social programs, creates an ideal environment for stimulating discussion and contact between participants at all levels. The ECDO conference is widely considered to be among the best meetings in the conference calendar for cell death research.

Please be aware that the room can only host 250 attendants. Please register early in order to book your place, as spots will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.
